ABOUT THE CORNISH LIME COMPANY

“The Cornish Lime Company” is a dedicated manufacturer of lime based products, such as high calcium "mature" lime putty (guaranteed at least six months old), lime mortars and lime washes. All of these products are manufactured here in Cornwall.

We are also the South West regional “distributor” for the St. Astier range of pure natural hydraulic limes. St. Astier is the market leader in the UK, long renowned for quality and performance having been in continuous production since 1851.

Another product of great interest is “Prompt”, completely natural and incredibly fast setting cement (controllable from just ninety seconds!). Regular customers for this remarkable material refer to it as an essential tool.

The collection of sands we carry in stock is almost certainly the largest available in the south west of England. Cornish Lime is currently building a bespoke on-site plant to engineer sands to any given criteria.

We have introduced a wide range of hard landscaping products including paving and decorative aggregates. Also available from stock is a range of obscure, “hard-to-get” products associated with building conservation.

We are also a principle distributor for the environmentally friendly “Aglaia” range of pure natural paints, wood stains, waxes and oils. Produced by one of the longest established natural paint manufacturers in Europe, Aglaia products can quality match any of the contemporary, chemically modified decoration products available today. Also available is the Beeck range of mineral silicate paints.
