Landscaping Products available from Cornish Lime

Whilst we will always be firstly and foremost a lime company there has been a natural progression regarding the sands and aggregates area of the business.

Initially stocking sands and aggregates best suited to building work it soon became obvious that there was a call for more decorative chippings for garden, landscaping and ornamental purposes. Over a period of time we have developed this side of the business and are currently stocking in the region of 500 tonnes of coloured sands and 500 tonnes of decorative aggregates.

We are one of the largest stockists in the South West and supply these products in full tonne or 25kg bags which we can ship nationwide.

Another development in our landscaping range was the introduction of the Brett range of patio, paving and driveway products and more recently the inclusion of the Natural Paving range of products. Both ranges offer a superb variety of walling, slabs, block paving etc and are available to order.

Our retail shop is stocked with all the products you need to undertake a landscaping project. From gloves to wheelbarrows, shovels, spades and weed-proof membrane we endeavour to be your “One Stop Shop” and, if you can’t find what you’re looking for we will do our best to source it for you. Our yard and warehouses are fully stocked with sands, cements (both OPC and Prompt Natural cement), concrete blocks and bricks. We even supply topsoil and a topsoil and compost blend which we can supply in bulk bags.

One of our latest additions is LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate). LECA is a special type of pelletised clay, fired at a high temperature to produce lightweight, porous pellets that have a high crushing resistance. LECA has superb water-draining properties and, being a lightweight product, is easy to transport and handle. It can also be blended with other growing mediums such as soil and peat and can help to retain moisture around plants and flowers. LECA can be used as insulation on roofs, for heat-proofing stoves and ovens and as a component in lightweight concrete or lime concrete.
