Lime Products available from Cornish Lime

From its beginnings 20 years ago, the Cornish Lime Company have worked tirelessly to spread the message about the benefits of using lime for building conservation and restoration projects. We offer a comprehensive and wide range of lime products for all your requirements accompanied by full technical support, information and assistance.

We are a dedicated manufacturer of lime based products such as high calcium mature lime putty which we guarantee has been matured for at least four months. Our lime putty is available in full tonne bags or 25kg tubs and can be used for making lime mortars and plasters or limewashes.

Lime putty is a binder and when mixed with a suitable sand in the correct ratio it becomes a mortar or plaster. We use our matured lime putty to manufacture both lime mortars and lime plasters as ready-mixed products for your convenience and we have these in stock in both tonne or 25kg bags. We also use our lime putty to manufacture our pure and unadulterated limewash which we can colour or supply pigments for our customers to create their own shades.

We are pleased to the South West regional distributor for the St. Astier range of pure and natural hydraulic limes and associated products. St. Astier have been in continuous production since 1851. Their product range has expanded greatly and along with their NHL’s we also stock lime based single coat coloured renders such as Thermocromex, Monocromex and Monostastier. St. Astier offer a range of beautifully coloured lime paints suitable for internal or external applications and these are available from stock.

Our product range is continually expanding with the introduction of Hempsulate, a coarse render which we manufacture from hemp, lime and recycled minerals. Hempsulate has particularly good thermal qualities and is a breathable product so is suitable for renovation work or as a practical and healthy alternative in a contemporary building.
