Cornish Lime is a business founded on a solid and practical knowledge base. We have researched our products carefully and strive to provide our customers with first rate assistance and guidance. We offer Lime Training courses on the last Friday of every month. These courses have deliberately been structured to assist individuals with varying degrees of competency from whatever background; trade or enthusiast. The days’ tuition covers a wide range of subjects including lime pointing, lime rendering, mixing, sands and appropriate decoration.

The course is part theory and part practical and is held in our training rooms on site in Bodmin. Course fees include a buffet lunch, tea and coffee throughout the day and we provide all delegates with a comprehensive literature pack and basic safety pack.

We offer CPD sessions for building professionals and, with adequate numbers, we are happy to travel to your practice to present our seminars. These sessions cover topics such as the history of lime in building, types of lime, rendering, plastering and surface finishes, sands and appropriate decoration.

We can provide training on any of our products and have recently conducted sessions for local schools, builders’ merchants, historic environment groups, architects, building surveyors, civil engineers and young farmers.
